Art shows/festivals

Our next big shows happen at almost the same time. First up is the Function & Design Show at [Artspace] @ Untitled Gallery. We have been working on pieces for this show since last spring. We are working in collaboration with other artists to create a full "room" in a house. Specifically the living room. Other groups are creating the other rooms such as a dinning room, media room, home office, etc. The criteria is that we repurpose, reuse, and recycle materials as much as we can in the designing of our furniture & accessories. This is going to be an incredibly original and unusual show. Please go to www.artspaceatuntitled.org to see more about this show and you will also see a photo of some of the furniture in our living room! This show opens Jan. 15th. If you go to our gallery of images and look at the furnuture you will get a preview of a few of the pieces we have been working on.

The second big show on our agenda is Cafe City Arts. This is an invitational show that we are honored to be asked to be a part of again. It is City Arts Centers' annual fund raiser that people look forward to seeing all year long. An exciting aspect to this show for Rick and I is that we have been asked to show some pieces independantly of each other in addition to few collaborative items. We will even be showing some of our photographic work! We are very excited ! The opening for this show is Jan. 29. Please find out more about this show at www.cityartscenter.org.
